Our commitment

Empower artisanal miners to lift themselves out of poverty by implementing mining education programs, Fair trade of resources and measuring the impacts of businesses at mining sites and on their lifestyle

ASM provides the world with a diverse array of minerals, metals, and mined materials, and directly links impoverished miners, from complex multi-layered networks to consumers of goods, and play a crucial role in propelling economic growth and development. Thus, our actions consist in evaluating the levels of compliance of mining companies on the ground to bring the laggards or those who do not comply, to opt for change in order to lift artisanal miners out of poverty.
